Ivolginsk Monastery.
This is the biggest and the center of Buddhism studies in Russia. It was opened in 1945.
This monastery's compound is bigger than the Gandantegchinlen Monastery in Ulan Baatar.

We had been carcamping for 4 days, so we decided to find a place to stay on our first 2 days in Russia. We found a beautiful hostel that charges USD12 per night. We stayed for 2 nights. We did our laundry had a good scrub and bath.
